HMBHS CLUB

Description

Anime Club

The Anime club focuses on the art of Anime. Come by to read and create anime.

Art Club

Members organize fundraisers for student scholarships. Also includes The National Art Honor Society (membership for any art student who attains a semester grade of B or higher and who is interested in art related community service).

Band Club

All music students are automatically members of the Band Club. This club is responsible for approving expenses for all the music groups’ activities such as festivals, reviews, trips, bus costs etc. Meetings are called when needed.

Big Sister Little Sister Club

A club dedicated to uniting the Senior and Freshman girls. Activities include fundraisers, food drives, bowl-a-thons, camping trips, pizza parties and many other fun events.

CSF Club

The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California high school students.

Future Farmers of America (FFA)

Agriculture students gain experience through hands-on projects including plants, animals, the environment, science projects, and/or job placement. Students gain leadership skills by attending conferences and competitions, organizing club and community activities, and practicing public speaking.

GSA

The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) brings together LGBTQ and straight students to support each other, provide a safe place to socialize, and create a platform for activism to fight homophobia and transphobia.

Interact Club

Interact serves the community and does fund-raising for groups in the Bay area and abroad.

Prom Club

Help plan this years prom. We choose the venue, theme, food, make the tickets etc.

Puente Club

Puente Club celebrates and expands awareness of Latino culture on campus. We also attend fun cultural events with money that we fund-raise.

Ski Club

Organized two or three ski trips during the school year.

Surf Club

Yearbook

This course and club is devoted to the production of our school's yearbook. We would like a full represention of student life at HMBHS, so please feel welcome to submit all photos and ideas for stories to the yearbook staff in G-10. If you would like us to take pictures of your club or activities, make sure to let us know. We work for you!
